Cadillac Repair: Strong idle, engine coolant temperature, sensor circuit

It's saying the same thing. In the manual, the ECM code 15 says "Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor circuit fault (open)" and for BCM code 15 is "Sunload Temperature sensor or circuit fault."

NEVER start a new question as I now have no idea what year or model car you have or what your original problem was. ALWAYS use the follow up to ADD to your opriginal question.

Replace the coolant sensor and clear the code 15 from the computer and see what code or codes return.


I do 20 to 30 questions DAILY and cannot remember every car unless I have the original question.
