Cadillac Repair: Leaking Air Line, vacuum hose, air blowing

I can hear air in the car,but it is coming from the engine compartment. It is in the dash/floor board area is were I can hear it. You can only hear the air blowing when the engine is started,and it blows with the idle of the engine.
Never did this before till I changed the distributor cap,and rotor. Then it started. What air hose could this be?

Hi Gary,

    I really need a year, make and model to help you out  so my best recommendation would be to retrace your steps and see if you can find a vacuum hose that came off. It your car has the vacuum reservoir near the brake booster look for a vacuum hose that came off. If an '82 to '85 with a 4.1L look at the RR of the engine where the air cleaner hose hooks up and behind that is a 3/8" fuel/vacuum hose that likes to come off.
