Cadillac Repair: Do new cars need anti-freeze?, 2006 cadillac xlr, cadillac xlr

I have a 2006 Cadillac XLR and I was wondering if I need to put anti-freeze on it. I live in Atlanta, so the weather is not as cold as higher up north. Thanks

1st of all, Very beautiful car, congradulations. 2nd no the car comes with GM spec anti freeze/coolant. This does not need to be replaced, hopefully for about 100,000 miles. An odd but very useful preventative maintenance procedure is running the heater either once a week for 5 or so minutes or running it for about 30 minutes once a month. This will reduce the change of rust building up in the cooling system.
