Cadillac Repair: blower motor, temperature control unit, blower motor

Question
The blower motor on my 1992 Fleetwood Sixty Special (FWD) will not turn off. Everything else works but I had to manually disconnect it out on the firewall. My dealer says it's a control module under the dash and he wants 500 bucks parts and labor to fix it. Any chance of doing this myself? There is a control box on the passenger side under the glove box and it is receiving signals from the temperature control unit but even disconnecting it won't turn the fan off. I tried that. Is this a common problem the Caddy's?

Answer
The power module is located just above the blower motor in the engine compartment and is held in place by 3 screws and has 2 electrical connectors attached to it. One connector has 1 wire in it and the other has 3 wires in it. Replace the power module.
