Cadillac Repair: a c problem, seville, cad

i have a 1993 cad seville  i dont know how to turn the ac on. it seems like the heat wont go off. plus on the screen it wont go below 60 degrees i might be doing something wrong i hope u can help me out

It is NORMAL that the screen will not go below 60 as this is the way the system was manufactured.

As far as no AC when you have it at 60:

1. Set the screen to 60.
2. push the AC button.
3. Look under the hood and see if the compressor is running.
