Cadillac Repair: electrical, napa auto parts, e52

hi i have an 1986 sedan deville 4.1l v8 i replaced the alternator and charged up battery now service now light comes on and off and sometimes flickers it has code e52 which is battery disconect ive cleared codes and replaced volt.regulator plug still have same problem with light even after i clear codes.im at my wits end now ive worked on cars for years and work for napa auto parts this is driving me nuts.any help at all would be great thanks

What you have is a loose or corroded ground circuit .
