93 cad sixty mod.headlighs will not go off when
is turned off,l have to disconnect the battery.
l smelt like something was burning before it happened.Would it be in the headlight swich,fuseable link,checked fuses under the dash&under the hood all ok.Do they call these the running lights. The bright lights&dims are working with the lever.

l guess what l mean is the running lights,when l park the car and put it park,shut off the key,get out of the car lights are still and wont go off.
the light switch timer is off,the light switch is off.The hi-beams work

AnswerThere is a 7 page diagnostic chart that must be used to test the DRL (Driver Remote Lamps) relay as well as the CCM (Central Control module.
The CCM is locted behind the rear seat in the trunk.
The DRL relay is located in the relay panel left of the steering column under the dash.
