Cadillac Repair: Cadillac Deville fuel tank pressure, cadillac deville, tank pressure

Question
My parents recently purchased a 1993 Cadillac Deville.  When removing the gas cap, there seems to be an excessive amount of pressure escaping from the fuel tank.  Is this normal?  If not, what could be the problem?  My mother has recently complained of the car stalling on occasion, but I assumed it was just moisture in the fuel as it seemed to go away after she added more fuel.  Thanks!

Answer
Back pressure is somewhat normal on today;s CLOSED fuel systems. Just HOW MUCH you have I cannot tell unless I have access to the vehicle.

Install some DRY GAS or similar product into the gas tank so as to remove the normal condensation buildup that always occurs in all vehicles.

if this does NOT solve your problem after 2 gas additive treatments over a 2 week period let me know.
