Cadillac Repair: 1990 Cad.Seville Possible ECM problem, caddy shack, knowlegable

Bill, this is not exactly a question. In actuality this is hopefully the end. I took it to a guy in el-cajon San Diego who specializes in Cadillacs and he determined that you were right . The grounds had shorted out my ecm. So he cleaned them and I had to have a new ecm installed. The car is running fine and I can only hope that the problem is really solved. I am writing this to thank you once again for your imput and to let you know the outcome. I figure with your background you would be interested in knowing the result. If anything further occurs i will keep you informed. Thanks again. The name of the place i think i told is Matts Caddy Shack. By the way the first man who worked on my car put in a bcm i did not need. he returned my money. Alls well that ends well

Hi David, Thank you for the update. It is always nice to know when I have helped and glad that you found someone knowlegable to find the problem. Sounds like Matts is a good place to take a car for repairs in that he refunded money for a repair that didn't fix the car and they are honest. Happy motoring. Bill
