Chevrolet Repair: SSR, last question, pcm

Last question I promise. If I bring the truck home and take out the computer and when I get the new computer. Can I take both computers to the dealership can they flash the new one without the truck. That way all I got to do is put it in when I get home. Thanks.

HI SEAN AGAIN,,SORRY THIS WONT WORK,THEY NEED YOUR TRUCK TO DO IT. RESAON BEING IS EACH CAR OR TRUCK HAS THERE OWN OPTIONS TO THEM. THE PCM IS SET UP TO YOUR TRUCK PER VEH ID #..THE FIRST THING WE HAVE TO DO WHEN WE FLASH IS ENTER THE VIN#. THIS SETS ALL THE GROUND RULES IN MOTION.
