Chevrolet Repair: Brakes, rear brakes, chevrolet truck

Question
I installed new brakes on my 1988 2500 Chevrolet Truck, the fron and rear brakes. I already bleed them. The front brakes seem to work fine, but the rear brakes do not. When I press on the brake pedal, the rear ones can still move, I checked them several times to see that I installed them correctly. But still they do not seem to work, the emergency brake works fine, but not the normal brakes. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Answer
Hi Juan... did you try setting the brakes up....do a brake adjustment on the rears then try...if still not holding check to see if the centering valve is working..it is supposed to balance the pressure between front and rear....when you blead the brakes did you hold the button on it to keep it centered while bleeding..if you didn't thats probably where your problem is...hold in the button on the centering valve and try bleeding bake brakes again...hope this helps
