Chevrolet Repair: 1994 chevy suburban tranny fluid in the radiator, chevy suburban, body fuel

Question
Hi,

I have a 1994 Chevy Suburban. 7.4 liter 454 2500 4x4. Throttle body fuel injection. Towing package.

I just noticed I was running low on transmission fluid and had to add almost a quart. Only 200 miles later I was low again. It isn't dripping from anywhere. I found it is somehow getting into the radiator.  Is this something that a do it yourself person can do? Where do I start?

Thanks.
John

Answer
Hi John...yes you can bypass the tranny cooler in the rad...put an external trans cooler in its place..any parts store should be able to accomadte you....the only other thing you can do is replace the rad...the cooler is the less expencive way to go....hope this helps
