Chevrolet Repair: 83 chev p/u, battery box, chev

Question
How do you take the battery off (which bolts do you take off and how hard is this to do)?

Hi Dean... if it the the orignal style battery the posts are on the side of the battery facing the firewall...remove the bolts holding the cables on and remove the battery hold down bolt at the bottom of the battery box then remove the battery... hope this helps...Merry Christmas
