Chevrolet Repair: 1985 Chevy Surburban, chevy surburban, electric fuel pump

truck died on me. replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, also have half of tank of gas, but its not getting fuel to the carburetor. checked fuel line, still no gas getting through. Can you please help

Im sorry is this a mechanical fuel pump, or an electric fuel pump, if it a mechanical, and you replaced the pump, and still no fuel to the carb, the it sounds like the pump rod is damaged, and you should remove the pump again and check the rod.  Also check the crankshaft bore as the rod rides off that.  If it's an electrical pump, check the grounds at the connector for the pump, usually right above the tank is a 13mm bolt.  That is the ground wire for the pump, attaches to the frame rail
