Chevrolet Repair: 92 chevy truck 4.3 v6, chevy truck, pressure tester

idles great, runs great for about 10 minutes, then it is all I can do to get it to limp back home...sputtering and backfiring all the way...any ideas ?

Hi Kevin,
I would first connect a fuel pressure tester, where I could observe it while driving, and then go for a ride.
If the guage drops when the problem occurrs, replace the filter, and then possibly the pump.
If the pressure remains the same as it sputters, check for a restricted exhaust system, such as a screen in the tail pipe stacking rust flakes up inside it.
