Chevrolet Repair: 2000 Malibu, adequate power, cranks

My Malibu has been cranking and running fine. I got in it today and it wouldn't stay cranked. Turn the key it cranks and after about 2 seconds it goes dead. Acts to me like its not getting any fuel and it has gas in the tank. Any help will be appreciated.

if the car clicks after you turn the key or barely cranks then i suggest u check your battery.  You may have a bad battery or the connection at the battery may have corrosion on it causing the vehicle to not have adequate power supply while cranking or attempting to start.  Good luck
