Chevrolet Repair: 1988 fuel system problem, test light, fuel pressure

Question
i have a 1988 half ton suburban with a fuel problem. i get no fuel out of the injectors I've checked fuel pressure its at 9 psi I've replaced injectors and regulator and still no fuel where do i go from here

Answer
I would first test the circuit at the fuel injectors. Remove the injectors electrical connectors, plug in a injector node light and crank the engine.- Light should flash on and off rapidly. You can use a regular 12v test light but you'll have to look very closely at it, the light will barely come on. If you use a test light make sure both ends of the test light is connected to each terminal on the injector connector. Then test the other injector circuit.

If light comes on and off rapidly while cranking the engine, I would have to say you have a weak fuel pump. 9psi is on the low side of normal 9 - 13 psi. I've had several no start problems with 9 psi that would not get fuel.
