Chevrolet Repair: ABS Breaks/ 1997 Chevy 1500 4WD Truck, wheel hubs, dry pavement

Question
Hello, My ABS act's funny when I start stopping and my truck
slows down to 15-10-5-0 mph on dry pavement. I can feel the ABS start pumping back & forth from one side to the other
like I was stopping on ice, but I'm Not. It's dry pavement?
I have been told it is my sensors on the front wheel/hubs?
I have been told it is one of my calipers hanging up and
not sliding back & forth right?
I do know all my break pads (Front) and shoes (Back)are in good shape.
Well I hope I have gave you enough info on my brakes and
you can give me A GOOD IDEA! Whats Wrong?
 Thanks, Bob

Answer
This truck has hub and wheel bearing assemblies on the front.  Attached to those hubs are wheel speed sensors.  Where the sensor attatches to the hub rust has developed between the sensor and the hub.  If you are able to remove those sensors and clean the area and grease it you may fix the problem.  Otherwise you will need new sensors.
