Chevrolet Repair: Blazer, accessing torque converter bolts, blazer s10, torque converter

Question
I have a 1998 Blazer S10 that has a seized bearing or piston.  I have not been able to rotate the engine.  How do I access the converter bolts to detach it from the transmission?  Do I need to pull the transmission with the engine?  If I am required to separate the engine and transmission slightly and then remove the bolts, how do I access the  bolt on top.  Have any recommendations?

Answer
Hi Mitch,  The only way is to pull both, once removed you will have to pull trans from the engine leaving the torque attached to the flywheel and remove it afterwords. try to pull trans straight off and replace the seal when you reinstall the torque in the trans. when you reinstall make sure you rotate the torque while pushing on it to align it on the pump
