Chevrolet Repair: fuel pump, fuel level sensor, fuel pump

My gas hand is going crazy. It goes from E to F. but it's running find. I've been told it's the sending unit on the fuel pump,but how can know for sure.

Hi Ritchie, One thing that really helps is type of car or truck you have. This is happening more and more, OH well.
You need to replace the fuel level sensor which is on the fuel pump unit in the tank. Some times you can't just buy the sensor and have to get the whole sending unit, depends on type or vehicle.
