Chevrolet Repair: heater core leaks, heater cores, heater core

WILL STOP LEAK ADDITIVES WORK VERY WELL? ALSO, HOW BIG OF A JOB IS IT TO REPLACE IT YOURSELF ?

Hi Ron, I really can't give you a answer on the stop leak stuff as I have never used it. I guess the best way to test it is to try some and see what happens. I think if the hole is small it might work for a while or at least slow down the leak. Some heater cores are easy and some you need to take out the complete dash, all depends on what type of car. I don't which model you have!
