Hi. i would really appreciate some help with my 98 blazer. i just had a new engine put in a week ago and now the fuel pump went out. is there anything that could have happened during me replacing my engine that could of ruined the fuel pump. the fuel pump is less than a year old. thanks for your help

Hi John,
Nothing about changing an engine would cause a fuel pump to go out.
It is possible the relay was damaged, or a wire damaged. Have you used a jumper to test the fuel pump?
Before replacing the pump, make sure it is actually bad.
A loose ground is another possibility.
