Chevrolet Repair: 2004 Blazer brakes, worn brakes, arizona climate

Question
Hello Mark,
I own a 04 Blazer with 35,000 miles. I put alot of miles on this
vehicle and live in a dusty Arizona climate.
Brakes have been squeaking first thing in the morning. Once
they warm up the sqeaking stops. I had the brakes adjusted at
26.000. No other brake work has been done.

My question:
How much can I expect to pay and what will the brakes need at
35,000.
Is it possible that any of the work would be covered under the
36,000 warranty.
Do you recommend the dealer for brake work at 35,000 or can I
take it to a brake repair facility like brake masters and be able to
trust them.

It is really Great that you are willing to share your time and
advice !
Thanks !
Ron

Answer
Hi Ron, First at 35k the worn brakes are your dollar to replace. Now for who to replace them, being that you live in AZ and I live in NY, the job is way different. Here we have what you might not see a lot of (RUST). So I think you could go to the local brake shop and get a good job done. Have them use a High grade pad and resurface the rotors. No need to replace rotors or calipers just the pads.

BTW...there is no adjustment on this brake system!!

Have a Great Day    Mark
