Chevrolet Repair: Radiator Fluid, radiator fluid, head gasket

Question
I'm woundering were my radiator fluid is going, I have no visable leak anywhere, but yet when I check the Cold and hot line on the resovoir that its empty and have to fill it once a week. I own a 1997 1500 Silverado. If you know whats wrong could you tell me aprox how much it would cost to repair it. Thanks Ed

FIRST you have to determine if you are leaking it onto the ground or are you USING it by possibly a faulty head gasket thus burning it thru the engine. If you see any WHITE smoke coming from the exhaust EXCEPT when you first start the vehicle when the engine is cold for the first several minutes, This could be a sign of a faulty head gasket.
