Chevrolet Repair: 98 S-10 Blazer 4x4 with code 22, vacuum line, mechanical work

Question
The truck started stalling when the rpms drop. It runs good while throttle is pressed but if u let off the throttle it will stall. It did this for about a week then the eng light came on im getting a code 22. In my book it said TPS sensor. I replaced it with 2 other ones i had and i know the one is good because it came off my other truck. I have replaces map sensor o2 sensor full tune up and a few other sensors. I cant seem to pinpoint the problem. I was suspecting a problem with the throttle body so i also switched that out with another still isnt helping. I replaced the fuel pump a few years ago with an aftermarket 1 am not sure if its fuel pressure related or not, seems to be a sensor. Any info will help, Thanks

Answer
What size engine ?????????.

Did you perform the DIAGNOSTICS before you replaced the TPS to be sure that it is the TPS that is faulty ?. It could be a faulty ground wire to the TPS or a faulty TPS, The WRONG TPS for the vehicle as you replaced it with most likely NOT the EXACT one for the vehicle.

OR you have a fault in the computer or in the signal TO and FROM the computer.

IF you have a wiring fault, replacing parts won't fix the problem.

Let me know.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed..
