Chevrolet Repair: 99 Chevie Malibu, signal flashers, malibue

Question
1999 Chevrolet Malibue. What would cause a battery to continuously be drained, after all the normal things have been checked and rechecked?  Car has had new alternator installed two days ago, due to problem.  Mechanic has gone thru complete electical system, and can't locate problem. New battery was installed approximately a year ago, and turn signal/flashers were recently worked on at dealer.

Hello Mary,
If you have had an aftermarket sound system, or an alarm system installed, that is where I would look.
Also, check the glove compartment light, and the under hood light.
One way to check them is to open the compartment and quickly feel the bulb to see if it is hot.
