Answer
What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

Has there been ANYTHING ADDED to the electrical system ?.

The FIRST thing I would do is disconnect the BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR of which is a 4 wire electrical device usually loacted mounted in the fireawll near the blower motor or more towards the center of the fireawll and see if this resolves your head light issue. It WILL prevent your blower motor from operating with the exception of HIGH speed.
