Chrysler Repair: 2001 Sebring heater problem, heater hoses, coolant level

QUESTION: 2001 Sebring Conv. Heater stopped working, Blower works fine, coolant level OK. door works when switching from defrost to AC. Heater hoses are hot at firewall

ANSWER: Let me look into the manual and see what I can find. It may be the door that mixes air between the hot and cold pathways is not moving. I'll be back in short while.

QUESTION: OK thanks. I also see a sensor of some sort located behind the glove compartment

ANSWER: I am not sure which sensor you are describing. What are its wire colors? And what area/duct is it 'sensing'.

Hi Kevin,
If you mean a sensor that is mounted in the distribution housing, it might be the a/c evaporator temp sensor because its wires are dark blue/gray and light green/black.
