Chrysler Repair: No Start, Code 11, 1994 chrysler lhs, camshaft sensor

Question
I have a 1994 chrysler lhs 3.5 v6.. i was driving the other day and my car died on the highway i got it started again and made it home it would not let me go over 35 mph. then i got home it would not start. I checked the codes with ignition and it showed code 11 and also code 12. code 11 i changed and that was the camshaft sensor. i replaced the camshaft sensor and the car still wont start.the car sound perfect when you turn it over it just wont start. if there is any advice you can give me on my vehicle i would really appreciate it.. thanks danny

Answer
Hi Danny,
The 11 code is for the crankshaft sensor, not the cam sensor. It is located on the passenger side of the transmission just behind the flange that joins it to the engine, just above the transaxle housing. So try changing that one and I would believe that will get the engine going again. The code 12 just says that the battery power to the powertrain controller was disconnected recently (was the battery disconnected?).
