Chrysler Repair: 01 Stratus 2.7L: no starter/wipers/radio, volt ohm meter, transmission repairs

Question
Hi.  I recently had a used transmission put into my car.  I drove it for four days and it appeared to be running well.  I went out to start my car the next morning for work - nothing.  No noise whatsoever.  I figured it was the battery.  The battery appears to be fine.  I have bright lights and everything in the car works well except for the radio and the wipers; they do not work at all.  I am now guessing there is a fuse somewhere because there is no clicking sound from the starter, but maybe it is completely dead. Who knows?!  Please help!  I just put $2000 into transmission repairs and can't afford anymore help from a a garage.

Answer
Hi Travis,
Fuse #8 in the power box under the hood (20 amp, "start-fuel") is involved in the starter, radio, and wipers. So that would be the place to begin. If it blows again then it will be necessary to do some testing with a volt-ohm meter to determine what circuit is overloading the fuse. Let me know what you find.
