Chrysler Repair: Disarming an alarm, 1999 chrysler concorde, digital communication system

Question
QUESTION: I would like to know how to disarm an alarm system on a 1999 Chrysler Concorde.

Can you please tell me step by step if possible.

Thanks

ANSWER: Hi lleme,
Try the passenger door: lock then unlock using the key to see if you can get the led on the dash to go out. If you succeed and want to avoid this in the future simply secure the vehicle by using the push buttons on the enterior as you leave. Don't use the power locks, the key locks, or the remote and you won't 'set' the alarm.

QUESTION: Hi Roland - Thank you for the answer.  Is there a way to totally disarm the alarm?  Maybe cutting a wire or two?

Answer
Unfortunately not because the engine controller is hardwired into the digital communication system for this purpose plus every other aspect of its function. So the only thing is either avoid it, fix it, or possibly you can buy a replacement engine controller from a wrecked vehicle that didn't have a theft security system onboard. But even that might need to have some intervention at a dealer to align it with the remaining parts of the data-sharing system.
The usual reason for non-disarming is that the wire from the door lock to the body computer is broken, so if that can be repaired the system might be less trouble-prone. I suggested to try to disarm via the passenger door lock because there is less wear and tear on that side. Or just avoid arming it entirely by choosing the way you secure it when you leave, using the hand-operated lock buttons like in the good old days.
