Chrysler Repair: 99 lhs cooling fans, coolant temperature sensor, 1999 chrysler lhs

Question
My 1999 chrysler lhs was overheating.  Checked my radiator cooling fans not working.  I went out and purchase cooling fans replaced them.  Now the new fans are not running.  Let me know what else i can check.  Thanks...

Answer
Hi Frank,
Check fuse 21 (10 amp) in the fuse box behind the left end-cap of the dash which powers the ran relays, and also check fuses B and E (30 amp and 40 amp, respectively) in the box under the hood. If those are all functional then I would wonder about the engine coolant temperature sensor being functional. It is located near the thermostat housing on the top front of the engine which tell the engine controller when to turn the fans on.
