Answer
Hi Dominique,
When you say "won't shift (go) into any gears", if by that you mean you that the shift lever won't allow you to move it out of Park, then one possibility is that you are parked on a uphill or downhill tilt which puts such a tension on the Park mechanism that it doesn't want to release from that position. If you can get some hefty helper(s) who would push on the downhill end of the vehicle while you try to move the shift lever, it will probably release and you will be back in business. Or you could have put the lever in Park on a level surface but with the front tires wedged hard against the curb in front of it, which would do the same thing in which case the helper would push on the rear of the car while you tried the shift lever.
Other than that, if you mean that you can move the lever but the car won't move in any gear position then you do have a transmission problem. I would believe (hope) that the vehicle may still be under warranty were that the case.

I would check your safety mechanism that engages when you press the brake pedal often this is the cause. To test try shifting out of park without depressing brake, you should not be able to move. Now press the brake and remove from park if now it moves then the switch is fine if not check power to it etc, or replace.
