Answer
Hi Chip,
I don't have any diagrams digitized so have to xerox copy and postal mail them.
There are a half-dozen figures that show the guide bracket and pawl and anti-ratcheting spring, and the guide bracket pivot shaft, all as removed. As far as what it looks like during installation of the valve body, let me quote the only instructions on replacing the valve body:
"The valve body manual shaft pilot may distort and bind the manual valve if the valve body is mishandled or dropped. To ease installation of the valve body, turn the valve lever fully clockwise. Guides park rod rollers into guide bracket, while shifting manual lever assembly out of the installation position"
There is one figure in the disassembling stages that is titled "Push park rod rollers from guide bracket" and it shows the anti-ratchet spring 'action' end to be located above what appears to be the guide bracket anchor shaft at one end, and the rollers are at the other end of the bracket. The pawl tooth is hidden from view on the underside of the bracket. There is an exploded view of the guide bracket as well, and an assembled view, but removed. And three views showing the removal of the anchor shaft and plug for the bracket. So there is only figure showing it all in the assembled configuration.
I can xerox these and get them in the mail today for delivery after the holiday, ideally.
Let me know your postal address if you want me to do that.
