Chrysler Repair: Dash buzz: 87 New Yorker, phillips head screws, rear window defroster

Question
My 1987 Chrysler New Yorker 2.2 has a loud buzz that seems to come from behind the dash just to the left of the Radio/Heater area.  The buzz happens when the key is in the start position or when the car is running.

Pulling fuse 2 (back up lamps, cornering lamps, Auto Load Leveling, ACT control, Rear window defroster and overhead console) stops the sound.

I don't know if this car has Auto Load Leveling.   If the problem is the ALL how do I disconnect it?   Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Answer
Hi Dan,
It may be the automatic temperature control cabin temperature sensor/air circulation (aspirator) motor that is buzzing. It is located behind the dash to the left of the center console, near the lower edge of the dash (below and to the right of the steering column). To get to it you have to remove the cluster bezel (6 screws, 5 snaps), the lower trim bezel (the wide panel just above steering clumn, 7 screws, and some snaps), and lower steering column cover (clips and tabs). Then find two phillips head screws below and to the right of sensor opening which will release it and allow removal from behind the panel. The only inconsistency is that the fuse #2 doesn't get power in the 'start' position of the ignition switch?
