Chrysler Repair: Hazard Flasher Problem: 94 minivan, turn signal switch, sam barnes

Four way flashers operate OK at front but not at the rear.  ANy suggestions please?

Hi Sam,
There are several possible causes:
faulty contact in hazard switch itself which is part of the headlamp switch (the part that has the gray color plug). You could spray some electrical contact cleaner inside that switch using a straw applicator, as a remedy.
the tan/light green or brown wire from that plug to the turn signal switch could be open
faulty contacts in turn signal switch (again spray cleaner into interior).
the rear lamps could be faultly (but then you would notice no brake/turn signal action if that were the case.
So those are the approaches you could take, other than checking for voltages at the wires listed above.
