Chrysler Repair: 91 plymouth voyager wont start, plymouth voyager, code translation

Question
I recently replaced the fuel pump and still it wont start there is pressure in the line every time I check it and release it I turn the ignition and the line builds up pressure.  If I pour gas in through the air cleaner vent the van will start and continue to until it runs out but if I rapidly press on the gas pedal I can keep it running for a couple of minutes but eventually even that wont keep it running.  What can it possibly be.  By the way when it stopped working there was no warning just pulled up the driveway parked it and a few hours later it wouldn't start.

Answer
Hi Bernardo,
It sounds like you do have fuel and spark, so it may be a sensor that has gone bad.
Try using the ignition key: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light, which remains 'on', to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat the process to be sure of an accurate set of flash counts. Then combine the count numbers in pairs in the order of appearance, to form 2-digit fault codes.
Then either write back and tell me the numbers and we'll go from there, or you can go to www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html for a code translation. We'll then disucss what to do if you send me back a 'follow-up' question telling me the fault code numbers and also if you tell me which engine you are working with.
