Chrysler Repair: transmission mount, chrysler 300m, thr

Question
I had my car worked on and thr mechanic says its driveable everything is good, but i need a transmission mount. The question is am i able to drive my car like this at all.I want to take it to another mechanic is it possible for me to drive my car from one mechanic to another with a bad transmission mount.I have a chrysler 300m year 2000

Answer
As long as the mount is attached, yes. Even if there is no rubber left in the mount, you can still drive the car. Just don't accelerate quickly so the engine/trans won't rock violently. Also, when shifting from rev to drive, or drive to rev, pause for a few seconds in neutral.
