security light is on and car starts and then turns off.  What is wrong

Hi Barbara,
The security system has not been disarmed. Try to lock/unlock the passenger side door using the key and see if that makes the light go off. If not, try the driver side again. If that doesn't work, try opening the hood, then unlock the rear liftgate lock. One of those should disarm it.
