Chrysler Repair: 2000 Sebring Conv. blower motor, blower motor, fastener

Question
Hello Roland,
I have determined that the blower motor needs replacing since the resistors keep blowing. How do I get to the motor?

Answer
Hi Joe,
Remove the lower right underpanel silencer duct by removing the push-in fastener under the right end of the insturment panel and maneuvering the part off of the center floor distribution duct. This give you access to the motor area. Remove connector from the resistor block. Remove blower motor case retaining screws on the underside of the heater/ac distribution housing. Lower the blower motor case from the housing. Remove fan from the blower shaft. Remove the motor from its case. Install is the reverse.
