Chrysler Repair: 112 and 1496 trouble codes, throttle position sensor, volt supply

Question
Kevin,
i'm having problems with my '97 Sebring Jxi Convertible (2.5L V6, vin H). i have trouble codes 112 (low voltage at the air intake temp sensor) and 1496 (5 volt supply output too low). also, my battery indicator is lighted up, showing that my battery's not charging (and believe me, it's not). i changed the air intake temp sensor. didn't solve any of the problems. i've had the alternator off and bench tested. it passed the test. do you have any insight into this problem?? where is this 5V supply coming from? do you think this is the root of the problem, or just a symptom?
thank you so much!
