I am in need of a bit more information:
Is this a GTS sedan or is it a J-body coupe/convertible model? Is the instrument cluster conventional display or electronic display? By "dash" do you mean all the display lights across all the modules on the dash or just the instrument cluster? Any way you can characterize the smell, if not electical?
I don't know what he meant by a clutch gear. You might ask again to be sure, and ask for which part of car this clutch operates. The A/C compressor has a clutch, the transmission has some internal clutches if it is an automatic, the manual tranmission has a single clutch, but I am not sure what a clutch GEAR is. Which "board" is he speaking about?
I have the manuals but need some answers before I can help.
