Chrysler Repair: 1999 lhs: radio volume fades, infinity sound, amp section

After a while some of the sound decreases but if you shut off the radio and then put it back on the sound is fine for a few minutes. The car has the Infinity sound system. I'm not sure if it's a radio or an amp problem. Any help would be great!

Hi Mitch,
I would see if it behaves that way when you are running a casette and/or CD as the sound source. If it does then it is more likely the amp section than the radio control, if it doesn't then it would suggest the radio is the cause.
Other than that, I would not have anyother suggestions as to where to begin looking for the cause.
