How do you fix the spring in the trunk latch to get the trunk to close and lock down. The spring has let go.

If you can't find a replacement spring at the hardware store the solution is to go to a pull-it-yourself type wrecking yard and try to find a similar body Chrysler Corp vehicle that uses the same latch mechanism and replace your old one. Finally you could try to buy one at the parts counter of a Chrysler/Dodge dealership.
One of those three ways will get the problem fixed.
