Chrysler Repair: 98 Neon Fuel Cut Off, chrysler neon, neon auto

Question
My '98 Chrysler Neon (auto transmission) has developed an Imobiliser problem, and won't start. I have managed to bypass the initial imobiliser and get it to turn over, but it seems to have a fuel cut off. I'm assumming this works by cutting power to the fuel pump. Is this the case? Have you a wiring diagram? Is there a better way to bypass both imobilising issues?

Answer
Hi Daniel,
The only other help I can offer is that if you are having trouble disarming the system you might want to check the wiring of the electrical switch at both the passenger and driver side door that is operated by the door key to make sure that its wires are continuous thru to the body computer which is likely located next to the fuse panel in the cabin. The wire colors should be identical at both ends. I would suspect that the wires from those disarming switches have fatigued and broken at the door hinge. If you can somehow get the unit to disarm, then you can avoid the issue by always using the manual pushbutton to lock the door when you exit the car.
