Chrysler Repair: 95 Cirrus Limp in mode, solenoids, error codes

Hi Roland - I notice that in all the questions about "limp-in mode", no one has mentioned Chrysler Technical Bulletin #345 or 21-15-95, concerning replacing the Accumulator Piston. The error codes imply that the problem is with the solenoids, but even after replacing them, the problem still exits. My son has spent lot of money on this problem and now it appears that a few dollars for the Accumulator is going to fix the problem. The Chyrsler dealer was not even aware of the accumulator fix!

Hi Craig,
Thanks for the tip. No, I don't have the TSB's easily accessible to me so I wouldn't be aware of the contents of those documents. Out of curiosity, how did you find out about it? Maybe did you subscribe to Alldata.com?
Thanks for telling me about it. Can you reference me to your original question so I can make a note about this possible solution, and if it works or not would be interesting to know.
Roland

Thanks Roland - Yes, I subscribed to Alldata - I couldn't find any other way to get the information I needed - even the dealer didn't bother to search for a fix. We haven't taken the car back - hope to yet this week. I'll let you know if it works. Trouble is, every time they do something, the car works for a couple days, up to a week before it breaks again. Hopefully, we will know soon.

Answer
Hi Craig,
I was aware of the Alldata service, but it is as I recall a service that allows you to follow 3 vehicles for a year for $25 or something like that, which is not practical for me.
I will be interested in the result of the next attempt to repair your son's car.
