Question
thank you 4 your reponce i to think its map ordered it. be here tomarrow 4 2.2 turbo not stock item read 2.2 turbo needs less v 2 to 3 ok
non turbo 4.7 all so if its running lean probably why burnt hole in no. 1 piston hope for the price comes with barmetric presser selinoid
how important is silinoid and does this system need to be bleaded thx again 4 all help

Answer
Hi Doug,
Yes the barometric read solenoid is necessary for good boost control. What it does is from time to time lets the MAP read the local barometric pressure instead of the manifold pressure. it does this while the engine is running and the throttle valve is closed so that when you hit the turbo the mixture can be as correct as possible. So do connect up the solenoid wiring and the vac hose to it as designed. The engine controller tells the solenoid when to check atmospheric. I am not sure what you mean by 'bleed' of this system. Because it is not air tight I can't see what one would bleed. But feel free to ask again.
