Chrysler Repair: does not move when put into reverse, proper computer, diagnostics test

94 chrslyer concorde, when you put into gear it will not move you can cut it off and try again and it will go, it has also not changed gears when taking off without having to stop and cut the car off. we have tried all we know without really making any difference, have you come across this before?

This is one problem that the DIY has to accept defeat and hand over to a pro.  However you should be aware that it is an either Trans control module or a solenoid inside transmission. If they try to talk you into a complete transmission insist on some solid proof and explanations prior to signing work authorization. There are too many possibilities for me to start throwing repair scenarios at you without a proper computer diagnostics test results in front of me.
