Hi, I think the neutral safty switch is out? I turn the key and I have power to everything but nothing to starter. Do you know where to locate the neutral safty switch on my 1956 Cadillac and can it be bypassed? Thank you.

It's on the left-hand side of the transmission casing. As far as bypassing it, there will only be two wires, and you simply have to connect them or jump them.

Are you sure you want to do this? If so, don't leave it that way for long. I've started a car in drive whose switch was bypassed and it could gt out of hand easily.
