Question
i have a 1969 Lincoln continental its my first car and a classic but just in the past few years the running lights, turn signals both front and back after being on for a bit just start to flash inconsistently checked fuses replaced flasher took into an auto electric shop and they couldn't figure it out the headlights are constant but every thing else including interior lighting flashes inconsistently and turn signal indicator doesn't come up at all no turn signals work.  any suggestions

Answer
I have really no hope of being able to diagnose this without working on the car myself.  I'd start by disconnecting the bulkhead multi-pin connector in the firewall and cleaning and burnishing every contact (and there are about 30 or more of them), and tightening each contact so you know it is making a good connection.  I'd also put a voltmeter on the alternator output to make sure that the charging system is holding steady at 14 volts or so when the engine is running.  I'd also verify that the ground strap from the body to the engine block is in good shape, and making good contact at both ends to clean bright bare metal (NO PAINT!).   If that doesn't clear up the funnies, I'd have to get on each terminal of the turn signal system and see what is going on with a voltmeter or better yet an oscilloscope.  You are facing a very high cost repair here - sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but there is no easy way to track something like this down.  Somewhere, there is a bad connection, and it could even be inside an insulated wire where you can't see it visually.   You are going to need an electrical expert to help you here.

Sorry I can't lead you to the problem.
